The Sony HVL-F45RM features a built-in 2.4 GHz radio transceiver, allowing it to function as a radio commander or remote. It supports up to 15 flashes in five groups across 14 channels, eliminating the need for line-of-sight and offering flexibility in lighting setups.
Improved design reduces the size and weight by over 10%, making it ideal for mirrorless cameras like the a7 series, while still offering a guide number of 148' at ISO 100 and 105mm.
The flash head tilts from -8 to 150° and rotates 360° for full bounce capabilities. It features a zoom range of 24-105mm, expandable to 15mm with a diffusion panel.
The high-visibility dot-matrix LCD and Quick Navi control interface enable easy access to settings. Customisable buttons and two memory settings allow for quick setup recalls.
