Photography
The aim of this course is to develop
photographic skills applicable to successful travel
photography. Photography is one of the most powerful mediums
for documenting places, people and other points of interest,
so we may share our experiences with others.
Content:
- Camera equiptment appropriate for
travel
- Revision of exposure readings,
light and your camera
- General travel advice - security,
money, documentation etc
- Specific tips - climatic/x-ray
damage, cultural, do's and don'ts, processing films
etc
- Specialist advice on - wildlife,
churches/stained glass, candid techniques for people
etc
- Practical applications in a field
trip
Prerequisites:
A 35mm or aps camera (having
experience with the camera or having completed a beginners
camera course would be an advantage).
Course Length:
8 weeks/16 hours, including a
field trip at a convenient weekend time (to be arranged with
course members).

Film and processing costs
associated with the field work are additional to the course
fee.
