The Photo Access facilities consist of the following:
Work Room:
This area is used for print finishing, mat cutting and is the main teaching area.
Equipment:
Camera equipment and accessories are available for student use.
Computer room:
The computer room is equipped with all that is neccessary for digital photography and print manipulation.
Houses 16 enlarger bays suitable for both black & white and colour in 35mm and medium format. Three roller transport paper processors allow printing up to 16x20 size in monochrome and colour negative and colour positive processes. There are seperate areas for loading and processing film with chemistry available for monochrome(black & white), C41(colour negative) and E6(colour slide).
Studio:
Studio facilities consist of Bowens Traveller lights, backdrops, product table, 5x4 monorail camera and other accessories needed for a successful shoot.
NOTE: Our Dark Room and Studio facilities are available for hire to non students. Please contact Ian Smith or another staff member for details.
